Honoring Women Who Fight All Forms of Discrimination Against Women
The Human Relations Division of the City's Neighborhood Improvement Services Department is proud to present the 16th annual Women's Forum to celebrate National Women's History Month. This year's forum will feature Dana Mangum, Executive Director of the NC Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Dr. Yaba Blay, a professor and author, and Wendy Jacobs, Chair of the Durham County Board of Commissioners. The panelists will present and discuss various forms of discrimination that women commonly face, and the resilience of women to thrive in spite of such inequities. Moderated by Hilda Gurdian, CEO of La Noticia, Inc., this event will be both insightful and encouraging.
The panel discussion will be followed by a catered meet and greet.
